Born in 1979, Alberto Mielgo dedicated his life to visual art.
Painter, Director, Art Director, Designer, Animator and Concept Artist, he began working in an Animation Studio when he was only 18 years old.
Born and raised in Spain, Alberto is currently established in Los Angeles, after having worked and lived in various countries of Asia and Europe.
One of his strengths is the innovative type of animation for a specific audience that knows how to appreciate the originality and the continuous transformation that this industry faces day after day.
His fame has today reached all corners of the globe, thanks to his collaborations for the production of films that have become masterpieces; among all we remember for example Corpse Bride of Tim Burton, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 1 and 2 and Tron Uprising by Disney, for which he received in 2013 an Emmy Award and an Annie Award.
He was also the StoryboardArtist for the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. He wrote, designed and directed The Witness, an animated film that is part of the highly successful Netflix anthology: Love , Death and Robots.
He recently directed another animated short film, The Windshield Wiper, due out this year, a personal project focused on his vision of love and relationships.
