A frequent videogame player since childhood, Ben started planning his future as an artist by imagining to become one day a level designer for successful games such as Halo and Unreal Tournament.
In love with the worlds and the architectures created for these videogames, he moved to Seattle to attend a 3D animation course, but he soon realized his interest was more on the designing side, on the construction of new worlds.
This led him to change and to move to California to attend the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, where he studied industrial design.
Once graduated, he started working as a freelance for several clients such as Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures Animation and Insomniac Games.
He later moved to New Zealand, where he worked for Weta Workshop, who had become famous as the creators of the effects for the Lords of the Rings trilogy, movies where Ben himself worked.
Today he is a successful concept designer who offers his services to clients all over the world, among which we list NASA, Lexus, 20th Century Fox, LucasFilm, Discovery Channel and many more.
