Fabian was born in France in 1982. He studied classic architecture at Superior School of Architecture Paris-Malaquais and then studied at Ecole George Méliès, to learn everything about Cinema, VFX and 2D/3D animation.
After graduating from that school, he started working as Flame Assistant, on feature films and commercials, and then moved to Ubisoft Paris Studio, to work as an FX artist, on a AAA video games (Ghost Recon Future Soldier).
He worked there a bit more than 3 years, where he discovered a true passion for FX, by blowing-up things, making massive explosions, fire, smoke, sparks, water, blood, bullet impacts, debris, natural effects of every types, etc.
He learned the meaning of stamina, long term effort gestion, team work, collaboration between people across multiple continents, in multiple languages…Then he decided to move to London, feeling confident with his experience, to find a job in a world-class VFX company, to make proper big movies.
In 2013, he started working at MPC Film, where he got the opportunity to work on massive blockbusters, facing new challenges every days, learning new things from incredibly talented people from all over the world.
A couple of years later, Fabian became FX Lead and Senior Technical Director, and in 2017 he won the VES Award for “Outstanding Effects Simulations in a Photoreal Feature”: THE JUNGLE BOOK: Nature Effects.
He is now working at ILM London, on another massive blockbuster: Avengers Infinity Wars.
