Jay Barton is a Visual Effects Supervisor from Los Angeles, California.
He enrolled at the Art College of Design in Pasadena, where he studied Industrial Design.
In 1998 he joined the big family of Digital Domain, an American company specializing in the production of digital special effects for cinema, advertising and videogames, and also won several prizes for the development of new software and new technologies within the CG.
In his twenty-year career, Jay has created visual effects for commercials for clients such as Bacardi and BMW, he oversaw the trailer for the videogame Destiny, developed by Bungie, and worked on one of the first Super Bowl 3D adv.
He was VFX Supervisor of several complex sequences, for titles such as X-Men – The Beginning, Fast & Furious 7 and 8 and, more recently, Aquaman.
He was also awarded by the Visual Affects Society (VES), together with other colleagues, for the 2009 Audi – Intelligently Combined commercial.
