Kristen Lepore is an American animator and director, originally from the state of New Jersey.
At very young age she has her first contact with the family video camera and immediately begins to perform video experiments, directing the performances of the two smaller sisters.
Along with this passion Kristen was simultaneously developing the passion for animation, having already been impressed by Disney.
After completing high school, Kristen attended MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) where she studied experimental animation.
As a conclusion of this path, she realizes Sweet Dreams, her first stop-motion film. She started to work as a freelance for small projects, but at the same time decided to improve her skills, attending the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts).
Based in Los Angeles, Kristen is today among the most quoted digital artists of the moment; her works can be found on TV, on the web, in museums and in numerous international festivals.
She was named one of the fifty most creative people by Creativity Magazine and has collected a wide range of awards.
