With almost fifteen years of career behind him, Rafael Grassetti can be considered one of the greatest artists in the videogames industry.
His adventure in the world of digital art began in the advertising, collaborating with several advertising Studios for over three years.
In the meantime he has also starded his personal projects, building his own personal portfolio focused mainly on Characters.
During this time, as a freelancer he had the opportunity to collaborate with high-level companies such as Hasbro, Marvel and Ubisoft, on titles such as Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and Assassin’s Creed III.
Later he moved to Canada, where he was hired at BioWare, a Canadian software house specializing in the creation of computer and console videogames, where he held the position of Senior Character Artist for successful videogames such as Mass Effect and Dragon Age.
Today Rafael is Art Director at Sony Santa Monica for the God of War franchise, one of the best-selling video game series ever.
Despite his commitment to Sony, Rafael does not stop working on personal projects, one of his latest efforts are the representation of the characters of Super Smash Bros in God of War version.
